The Minnesota Department of Transportation announced April 2nd, 2020, that the agency will undertake 188 road and bridge projects statewide during the 2020 season to help maintain the state’s roads and bridges, improve safety and support construction jobs across the state. Governor Walz released his recommendations for the 2020 Capital Bonding bill. The proposal calls for a total of $2.6 billion in bonds and cash and includes $451 million from a combination of GO bonds, trunk highway bonds and general fund cash for Transportation.
