Thursday morning, August 16, 2012, is your briefing on the new Federal transportation reauthorization.  After a 3-year wait, MAP 21 was signed into law on July 6, 2012, replacing SAFETEA-LU.  The new law provides federal highway and transit funding starting at FY2012 levels and increasing slightly through FY2014.  The bill provides around $20.8B in funding to supplement the Highway Trust Fund.
